At PARAMOUNT we use our 20 years of framing experience to offer thoughtful, inventive and forthright advice on what will prove best for your picture and decor. Many of our customers leave it to us to 'get it right' and we readily take responsibilty for doing so.

The choice of different mouldings, surrounds and frames divide broadly into the following main categories:

We keep about 180 different frame options in stock. They are selected from a range of suppliers for value for money, quality and style. Our stock lines are continually evolving to reflect new trends and styles. If you have a particular frame option in mind we can often order it for you.

These are very popular, adaptable and stylish. A huge range of different woods, sizes, widths and styles can be custom dyed, stained and finished in-house as required. The range of Natural Woods include oak, ash, beech and pine all of which can be dyed in colours ranging from black, light oak, dark oak, terracotta, rosewood, mahogany and limed.

All our metal frames come from Europe's leading supplier who have an extensive range of shapes, colours and styles. The modern look with bright clean lines - ideal for photographs, posters and abstracts. At the moment slim tinted metalic frames are particularly fashionable. Try brushed and metalic Bronze, Cross-Hatched Pewter or Gun-Metal Grey (all 1cm wide).

Window mounts are available in a whole range of colours, textures, and finishes and to conservation standard if required. We can also customize mounts to create great special effects. For example we can use handmade paper, coloured lines or multiple aperture mounts.

Not really, but there are limits! We are experienced at framing large items and will advise you on the maximum size of frame needed. Maximum glass size is 122cm x 180cm. Maximum window mount size is 102cm x 152cm. The largest canvas we have dealt with to date is 120cm x 360cm.

The price you pay for framing is mostly dependent on the overall frame size. The price we charge includes everything your picture needs. For example, dry mounting (permanently flat), stretching, window mount, glass, hangers. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN EXTRAS. When we give you a price, we will stick to it.
